We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities (Autism Preferred), demonstrating a commitment to improving their lives through effective, evidence-based practices. This role involves developing and implementing individualized service plans, providing direct support, and collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans (ISPs) for clients with IDD/ASD.
- Conduct assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and preferences of clients.
- Provide direct support and interventions based on best practices and evidence-based strategies.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to create a supportive network for clients.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and ensure their voices are heard in the planning and decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes, reports, and records.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and best practices in the field of IDD/ASD.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Relevant certification or licensure (e.g., LCSW, BCBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with IDD/ASD.
- Strong understanding of person-centered planning and positive behavior support.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with IDD/ASD.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the supervision of all Support Specialists.
- Coordinated the supervision of House Managers.
- Supervision of coordination of services as it relates to your caseload. Identify any necessary changes in policies or systems to ensure optimum service delivery.
- Supervise the Operations Manager in connection with the performance of Operations Manager duties and responsibilities.
- Assist and provide input and guidance to the CEO, Operations Manager, and Executive Assistant regarding the hiring, retention, and termination of employees.
- Utilize knowledge and advanced training to perform your duties and responsibilities.
